kho gya jo ussay dhoond k laaoon kaisay
laapaton ka pata sabko bataoon kaisay

woh tou kehta hai chalo saath saffar kartay hain
saath chalta hoon magar saath nibhaoon kaisay

meray alfaaz mein woh apni ghazal kaisay kahay?
apni aankhon se ussay khwab dikhaoon kaisay

woh jo hota tou har roz jashan sa hota
uske jaanay pe ab eid manaoon kaisay

tu meri yaad mein har roz chala aata hai
sochta hoon main teri yaad mein aaoon kaisay

kab se aangan mein bahaarein nahi aayee hain
khushk phoolon se main ghar ko sajaoon kaisay

kaisay beh jaoon phir teri soch k dhaaray mein
lot aya hoon ab uss simt ko jaaoon kaisay

jhoot sun-nay ke aadi hain meray sheher k log
kyun kahoon such aur unko rulaaoon kaisay

dil jo roothay tou teri yaad mana leti thee
yaad roothi hai ab isko manaoon kaisay (mkm)
