Ashk beh jaate hain aksar sabhi ki aankhon se,

Main to un ki yaad mein ashkon mein beh gya.

Dost bhi badal gaye ab tere jaane ke baad,

Bas akela main tanhayon ke saath reh gya.

Tere aane ka intezaar ab bhi hai in aankhon ko,

Woh tera hasna tasveer ban kar hi reh gya.

Diya baadlon ne mera saath ta-umar yun hi,

Kabhi roya baras ke to kabhi garaj ke kuch keh gya.
